Ahí que vamos mi amiga Antonia y yo con un mono de sushi que no se podía aguantar (esta comida tiene que llevar algo de droga, porque a mi cuando se me antoja comerla no hay quien me pare).
Nos decidimos por Ichiban japanese restaurant (Ichiban significa en japones "número uno") básicamente porque: por fuera es precioso, varios conocidos habían comido allí y les gustó y tiene cooking show!
Entramos y efectivamente nos quedamos anonadadas, es realmente precioso por dentro; y ahí estamos las dos con los móviles haciéndole fotos a cada detalle de la decoración (debe de ser que nos invadió el espíritu del turista japones)
Para beber pedimos la cerveza japonesa Kirin 5% vol, un dato interesante sobre esta cerveza es que la elaboran bajo un proceso al que llaman "Ichiban Shibori" (primer prensado) por lo tanto solo se utiliza la primera prensada de todos sus ingredientes y esto le da un sabor único y menos amargo.
Para comer pedimos el plato de 20 pcs de sushi y literalmente voló, y yo volé con el -lo siento, no he podido evitarlo- estaba de rechupete, pescado muy fresco y con una presentación que quitaba el "sentío" ; también pedimos pollo teriyaki -es un must- y por probar los noodles pedimos unos de ternera con verduras que no decepcionaron.
Mi amiga y yo tenemos un segundo estomago para el postre, pero decidimos no utilizarlo ya que con las navidades ya nos habíamos pasado un poquito, así que no lo pedimos. #queduroescuandonoteentranlosvaqueros
Algo que ofrece este restaurante que lo hace tan peculiar es el cooking show, una mesa en forma de U donde el cocinero se encuentra en el centro y cocina para los comensales sentados alrededor de el. Lo que fue una pena es que ese día no había show y nos quedamos sin ver el espectáculo. Pero como una tiene una vision positiva de la vida así tengo una excusa para volver y esta vez no me voy de allí sin tomarme algo dulce al final. #nosinmipostre

Ubicación: Centro de Marbella, cerca del puerto, el aparcamiento los fines de semana esta complicado (tienes el parking del puerto deportivo cerca)
Calidad/Precio: A nosotras nos salió 25€ por cabeza (el sushi no es barato, pero merece la pena)

I met my friend Antonia the other day for drinks and some food, suddenly we realised that we haven’t had Sushi for a really long time (this food has to carry some drugs, it's addictive) We decided on Ichiban Japanese restaurant, (Ichiban in Japanese means "number one")
we chose this restaurant because: on the outside it’s s beautiful, several friends have eaten there and loved it, it also features a live cooking show!
We came in and were really amazed, it's really beautiful inside; there we were both with our phones taking pictures of every detail of the meal and decoration (we must have been invaded by the spirit of the Japanese tourist)
To drink we asked for the Japanese beer Kirin 5% vol, an interesting fact about this beer is that they make it under a process called "Ichiban Shibori" (first pressed) so it use’s only the first pressing of all its ingredients and this gives it a unique flavor and a less bitter taste. We ordered the plate of 20 pcs of sushi, dish presentation is amazing, beautiful and really well crafted. Fish was fresh and tasty, highly recommended; we also ordered chicken teriyaki -it's to die for- we wanted to try noodles so we ordered with beef and vegetables, this didn't disappoint.
My friend and I have a second stomach for dessert, but we decided not to use it because we have already stuffed our faces over the Christmas period.
Something this restaurant offers that makes it so unique is the cooking show, a U-shaped table where the chef is in the centre and cooks for diners sitting around. We were disappointed that on the day there was no show and we had to leave without seeing it. However, at least I have an excuse to come back, and next time I'm not leaving without having a sweet treat at the end. #notwithoutdessert
Really good venue for friends, reunions or romantic dinner with your lover.

Location: Marbella city centre, close to the leisure harbour, parking is quite complicated (you have public parking really close)
Price/Quality ratio: We paid 25€ per person, not expensive considering that we are talking about sushi (and this one is worth it)
